Jesus answered, “…. I am the life.”
The Way’s life logo consist of four arrows pointing outward in all four directions reminding us that
Christian living happens in every place and at every time…not just on Sunday mornings.
Living at The Way is a spiritual calling.
When we go out into our community to live, it is God’s love in us that awakens us to the spiritual and cosmic significance of the spiritual callings we have from God as a husband/wife, father/mother, sister/brother, son/daughter, family/friend, employee/employer, neighbor and citizen, etc.
People today are searching to know, “How did I get where I am today?” or “What should I do with my life?” Nothing we do can impact the past, and the future is entirely in God’s hands. So, how are we to live right now, today? Jesus answers this question for us: “Love God; love your neighbor” (Luke 10:30-37).
So, we ask, “What do the people God placed in my life need from me?”
To know how you can show Christian love to those in your life, you need to be with these people. That’s belonging.
To show Christian love to those in your life, you need to serve those people. That’s purpose.
Life Events are both social (belonging) and service (purpose) oriented.
Jesus said, “…. I am the life.” (John 14:6). We live The Life.
