Jesus said, “ I am the way…”
The Way’s Worship Logo is an early Christian symbol, the IX monogram. This historic symbol is formed by the combination of the Greek letters iota (I) and chi (X).
Iota is the first letter of the Greek word for “Jesus” (Ιησους), and chi is the first letter of the Greek word for “Christ” (Χριστος).
Put together, they function as a shorthand for “Jesus Christ,” the reason and object of our worship.
Worship at The Way is a spiritual conversation.
When we come to worship a profound encounter with God takes place when, through His Word, God declares His many gifts to His people. When we gather for worship the transcendent Creator of heaven and earth comes to you and me – his sons and daughters – through Word and Sacrament, and gives us forgiveness, life, and spiritual rest.
When we come to worship a faithful expression to our God takes places when, by faith, we respond to what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. We who have heard the good news of God’s love in Jesus, crave the opportunity to praise Him for his unconditional love.
Jesus said, “ I am the way…” (John 14:6). We worship The Way.
The Way meets every Sunday at 10:00am at Regal Cinemas 14 Fredericksburg (see below for directions). We would love to have you join us!
